With a knowledgeable and reliable service team of 25 employees, we specialize in Architectural Glass and Glazing, Architectural Design Consultation, New Construction and Renovation.

Our quality fabrication utilizes our close partnership with suppliers such as Kawneer, Vistawall / Oldcastle, Viracon and Vitro America.

Eric Van Uchelen

President

Raised and educated in Canada and England before settling in Houston. He acquired Ashford Glass in 1991 and has steadily grown ASHFORD GLASS to its present capacity. He enjoys woodworking, classic rock music and great wine. Eric lives in the Houston Heights with a house full of females; his beautiful wife of 22 years, Aurora, Irish Setter Sarah, and two devilish Brussels Griffons, Izzy and Abby.

Jennifer Story

Vice President

Jennifer has been in the glass industry for 16 years and has been in been in various areas from retail to manufacturing to the commercial side of the glazing industry. Jennifer is happily married with 3 wonderful kids, one of which is proudly severing our county in the Marines. Jennifer loves spending time with her family, being in the outdoors and swimming.

Rodrigo Ferreira

Project Engineer

Rodrigo has been in the glass industry for 5 years with notable projects such as MCLI Magnate School, San Marino Apartments, Pearl City Center North, and Broadstone Energy Park. Rodrigo lives in Richmond Texas and is happily married and has two daughters. Rodrigo enjoys spending time with his family, music, hunting & fishing, cars, and motorcycles.

Pancho Hernandez

Field Superintendent

Pancho has been in the glass industry for over 25 years and has been at Ashford for 15 of those years. Pancho lives in Pearland with his family.

Shawn Story

Project Manager

Shawn has been in the glass industry for 16 years. Shawn started as a glazier and is now a project manager. Shawn has seen both sides of the industry from retail and commercial to manufacturing. Shawn is a devoted husband, and father of 3. He love spending time with his family, outside, and in the water as much as possible!

Tommy Taylor

Project Manager

Tommy has been in the glass & aluminum industry for over 30 years with notable projects such as Southpoint Business Park, Southwest Medical Complex, Elyson Amenity Center, Target, and Greenfield. Tommy has been happily married for 11 years and together with his wife have a total of 7 kids. Tommy enjoys spending time with his family, and working outdoors in his yard.

Josh Richardson

Project Manager

Josh has worked in the glass industry for 23 years. Leading many architectural design projects over the years has awarded him a fully developed portfolio of projects including the L.B.J Hospital, Project Greenfield, Conoco Phillips Ec1, and 24 Waterway. Josh is happily married with 3 boys and loves traveling with his family, which are often amusement park adventures!

James Adams

Estimator & Project Manager

James has been in the glass industry for 34 years and has been with Ashford for 27 years with notable projects such as Market Street in the Woodlands and Haliburton North Campus. James started in the glass industry as a glazer and is now an estimator along with project manager. In his free time James enjoys Hunting and Fishing.
